"It was pretty nice. Me and my husband went around 4 hours early and we couldn’t checkin but they took our luggage so we could walk around. It was close to restaurants so that makes everything easy for us. Good location. I would definitely come back."

"The location and hotel facility were perfect for us. Easy to walk to events and restaurants. The breakfast was lovely at the restaurant in the hotel. The room was very nice. Only downside was the smell of whatever spray was used to make the room smell better. We needed to l ave the room for it to dissipate - it was overpowering. It was better when we gave it some time and no issues by the time we retired for the evening. "

"This stay at the salamander was a little less than my expectations. The one thing that made things better were the managers, they were on top of everything. Although there were some things subpar the managers professionalism and troubleshooting for resolutions made it almost effortless. I would like to say thank you to Joe, the housekeeping manager, he was very kind and understanding. The restaurant was good. The location was excellent a 10 minute walk to the wharf. Close to the monuments....

"The hotel is hit or miss. Much depends on the room you get. Some are supposedly wonderful and large. Some are in basement (what they call 1st floor) with limited windows. Ours was ok, clearly an office that had been converted, with a bathroom built into the room, which looked odd and created an L shape. Some of the windows were covered by a massive headboard.
