"Stay was okay. Location was good but facilities could do with a little lift such as the mattresses on the beds and unfortunately we did not notice this was an animal friendly property and noted some animal fur in the bathroom and on some of the carpets as well as a slight smell of stale cigarette smoke in the lounge area. But on a positive note the kitchen area was well stocked and the rooms were large and the dining table comfortable. "

"This was such a unique property to stay in for our vacation. It was a perfect location to serve as a home base from which we were able to make our daily sight seeing trips. The castle provided such a memorable experience that we will remember it for a very long time. Didn't mind the low doorways or many steep narrow steps. All part of the experience. Would certainly stay here again the next time we are in the country for a visit."
