"The Cardiff Marriott hotel is a lovely hotel in a great position and with a secure car park. It also has an onsite restaurant, which served a delicious breakfast. However, the price of the drinks shocked us as we were charged £14 for one glass of white wine! The room was good although exceptionally warm with a very loud fan, which we couldn’t leave on during the night due to the noise from it. We could also have done with some more shelves to put clothes, toiletries, etc on. And final slight...

Our room was very nice with wood floors. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was well organized with a really lovely spacious bath/shower. We appreciated the free early baggage storage prior to check-in. Finally, the staff were very polite and helpful. "

"It was well placed for walking into city centre. Restaurant was only average. It was annoying to have to pay £10 to use pool as on the first day, we only had time for a 40 minute stay in the pool area. Staff were all lovely. "
