"The welcome on arrival was superb. We arrived early and our room was available. We had an upgrade to a room with a view of the Burj Khalifa. All of the staff were friendly and wanted to help. The location was excellent as walkable to Dubai Mall and fountains. We also made use of the free shuttle bus. The facilities at the hotel were amazing. We used the gym, spa and pool. Paul and his team at the pool were brilliant- moving sun beds to the sun for us. The breakfast arrangements were excellent. A huge range on offer with excellent service from all staff. The Eloquent Elephant was a welcome watering hole with a lively atmosphere and attentive staff. We discovered the Treehouse rooftop bar one evening. Fantastic views at sunset for a pre dinner drink. Overall The Taj was a fabulous experience where nothing was too much trouble for the staff. "
