"The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa"

"Vistas Del Lago is a great community with an amazing view of Lake Arenal and the mountain. The house was as presented on line, nice accommodation for 6, though there were only 4 of us. Our only issues resulted from late season rain and storms -- unreliable internet and washed out roads/landslides."

"We had a fantastic stay! The owner was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. Our flight got canceled coming in and we ended up arriving the day after we originally planned and the owner was super patient with all of the changes and even offered us an extra day. The back patio was beatiful with amazing views of the volcano. We made good use of the hammock and enjoyed an afternoon in the hottub. "From the moment we arrived, the view took our breath away. It truly is a heaven being in the clouds and being able to see the volcano, the lakes, and the surrounding beauty.
