It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa"

"It was a great place to stay. The size was perfect for 5 adults and 2 children. The only thing I would caution is there is only one room with an AC, and from what we found only one fan. (All had ceiling fans but the ceiling is so high it was hard to feel any breeze.) So it was a little hotter than I’m used to sleeping in however I would absolutely stay again. The view alone was worth it!!!! Property managers were quick to help with anything and it was only a short drive into town. Perfect...

"Loved everything. The wildlife right on their property was amazing. Baby sloth and mommy right in the tree outside the door. Jonathan was great too and showed us a lot of fun stuff. We did the tubing excursion and had so much fun. It’s not for the faint of heart. Perfect for our fam! Recommend going on the hike into park to see that beautiful Celeste River and waterfall. "

"This is very much a stay at a family’s home versus a primary rental purpose. It is a drive to everything but you get a lot of beds for the price. We had a very action packed time closer to La Fortuna so this house fit our low key plans. My husband used the sunroom with beautiful views for Work and the rest of us enjoyed the swimming pool and bird-watching. "
