"Very clean and spacious room. The only thing we didn’t like was that the shower did not have a shower door or curtain. It had a fixed glass that served as a partition only. Other than that, it was perfect and we would definitely return. "

"Another wonderful stay at the Mokara! The hotel is gorgeous, the staff are wonderful, and the amenities are amazing. I love the views from the rooftop pool and the peace and quiet of the spa whirlpool and sauna. Fantastic room service food, too. The only issue with this visit was getting conflicting info from the spa staff about the different services' features and costs. Other than that, it was a perfect visit. We hope to come back soon!"

"The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and the kitchenette was fully stocked with useful things. The proximity to Lackland AFB made the location ideal for my visit. I would definitely recommend for friends and family visiting military staff if on base stays aren’t an option."

"The hotel itself is charming and is very well maintained. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The property is in an excellent location - right on the riverwalk. However, the shower drain was clogged and the ice machine on the floor was out of order, This was the only reason why I did not give it a perfect 5 rating. Will that stop me from staying in this hotel when I come back? Absolutely not! I love everything else about it."

"This is a great property! Checkin was quick, the room was spacious and clean and the heat worked perfectly. Breakfast offerings were good too. The door to the toilet/shower area swings inches from the toilet so you have to maneuver a bit to close the door behind you. The curtains let in light at the bottom and there was a small item left there from the previous guest. Overall a very nice stay. Would definitely stay there again."

"My stay was excellent, but I can't give 5 stars because the rooms need to be updated. The dark carpeting and the color are horrible for today's standards. However, the staff are wonderful, the amenities including free breakfast and dinner and 3 drinks for free per day is fantastic. The parking for the stay is behind a gate, so I felt safe leaving my vehicle outside and not wondering if I was going to come back to a stolen or broken into vehicle. "Great location on the River Walk. Very nice room. Hotel was very quiet but there was a little street noise even on the 15th floor. No more than expected on a weekend in a city. Room very solid and clean. Both hotel bars we visited were fun and the drinks were good. Overall, really nice place."
