"This property was beautiful & all of the staff were so friendly and genuine. The view was gorgeous from our room and we had a balcony. Having the restaurant on the resort was convenient too and a beautiful view as well. Only thing that I would say needs updated is the elevator- it was a little outdated / made noises that sounded a bit scary "

"The hotel is showing some age, but the service is professional and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The old microwave was in an awkward position but worked. We would certainly stay there again. The breakfast had a lot of choices; avoid the potatoes, though. And the location was right across the street from Renaissance Commons, which offers everything a nail salon to a wonderful Latin restaurant!"

"This hotel sets the standard for all others. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always making us feel welcome. The pool decks are well appointed and the ocean view is stunning. The beach is a bit rocky, which makes swimming a little tricky but not impossible."

"The stunning architecture, rich history, and beautiful art of this hotel captivated me and were the reasons I chose to stay here. It truly felt like I was transported back in time to another era. The landscaping was a gardener's dream, and the security at the front gate, as well as throughout the property, were always vigilant, doing an excellent job. The only downsides were the construction happening next to the hotel beach and the absence of a coffee machine in our room; we had to request one, which seemed unusual given the price of the stay. Additionally, the beach furniture and towels could use a refresher. Other than that, the hotel was immaculate, and the staff were both professional and friendly, providing exceptional service. The HMF restaurant surpassed our expectations, with the food being an absolute delight."
