Great that the staff will pick up your luggage from the station on arrival and it was in our room when we arrived. Afternoon tea was wonderful and we loved the pantry and record player in our room. A great place to stay. "

"We stayed for 3 nights for a Christmas shopping trip, the hotel is in a perfect location very close to York Minster and with lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We were met with a very warm welcome, our room was small but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend this lovely boutique Guest House"

"Nice spacious room, close to city centre with very, very friendly staff and excellent service... Food was excellent with lots of choice at breakfast, which was included in the price. Only minor point was that there were a couple of little decorative tired bits around the edges like the net curtain had a tear for example... But it was nothing so big as to take the shine off our stay. Would return absolutely and would highly recommend."
