"The rooms are above a pub, in a convenient location. They are alongside the York art gallery and a very short walk to the Minster. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within a short walk as you would expect. The White Horse is only around 10 minutes walk from the station on well lit busy streets. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before official check-in time, but the staff were very friendly and managed to get my room ready early while I settled down with an excellent pint (good...

"We attended a near by wedding, the accommodation was perfect for what we needed, the owners were friendly, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, the surrounding area was lovely just a shame we didn’t have more time to explore."
