"Ilmington is a charming village and it is still unspoilt by tourism and traffic. It is so bucolic as the sheep graze on the hills surrounding the village and the quiet of the night is worth the price of admission. We loved the Howard Arms. The Village room was spacious and had loads of history and beautiful features. Breakfasts were plentiful with good options. We will definitely stay here again if we return to this part of the Cotswolds."

"warm comfortable very clean private friendly.... good facilities Tea Making TV Good WiFi easy parking.. lovely breakfast...great country views .. Excellent Value for money. Perfectly quiet. Off the beaten track which I loved. Outside choice for an evening meal is very limited....you will have to travel a few miles to get an evening meal .... this aside expect a very peasant stay... Hosts are friendly and welcoming ... I will stay again :)"
