"The Mount Royal is our go to spot in Banff! Rooms are great, hotel is clean and never too busy. Love the new renovations! We love the lounge area in the lobby and the rooftop spot as well with the hot tub. The restaurant is also great and has happy hour in the afternoon. We’ve stayed here a few times and our least comfortable stay was on Halloween night. There were lots of people out on Banff Ave and they were very loud, it made it hard to sleep. I know they couldn’t do anything about it, but I suggest if you plan to stay during a busy weekend where people will be out at night, to request a room that is not facing the strip. "

"We had a great girls weekend at The Fox. The hot tub/cave area is a great spot to unwind. We were able to walk to all the spots we wanted and the shuttle to Lake Louise was right out front and super convenient to use. Staff were very friendly. Would stay here again in the future. :)"
