"TLDR: This is a perfectly acceptable hotel. Nothing too special, nothing bad. The Roppongi area is incredibly expensive, so I do not recommend staying here if you are on a budget (especially if you want a quick bite to eat like me, who did not research enough). The room was tiny (even for Japan) yet comfortable, and the HVAC was nice. The TV didn't really do anything unless you want to pay for a random TV service, but there were lots of freebies. "

"I stayed in standard double bed, and the room is slightly bigger than the ones like in APA hotels. This is very important for us as we brought one large suitcase and we were able to open and laid it flat after plenty of shopping. Other great features include the supplies that guests can freely take from a counter across the front desk (combs, toothbrushes, teas, coffees, etc) there’s also coin laundry that’s very useful if you only travel with carry on luggage and need to do some washing. "Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, comfortable and quite large by Japanese hotel room standards. The property is opposite a familymart and is within 5 minute walking distance to metro and JR line trains adding extra convenience. "

The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome

Loved our stay with an amazing view of tower!

"We stayed for 3 nights in the Japanese Junior Suite and it was a great size for 2 people. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable with a stunning view of the tower. The only thing I would say is the bed was very low and firm but maybe it was because we were in the Japanese style suite. My friend stayed in a regular room and her bed was very comfortable. As a whole, the hotel is very modern and clean with friendly staff :) They took care of our luggage transport to Kyoto which was really nice. We would definitely stay again! "
