"I booked Tortuga before the hurricane and did wonder what it was going to be like in March. Well , I had nothing to worry about. Beautiful rooms with everything you could need. The pool was beautiful and so we're the grounds. It was only after a couple of days I realised they were doing work on planted areas and then I realised the downstairs accommodation was still being renovated! Wow! They were doing it in such a way that you didn't even notice. No noise, no materials outside. What a fantastic job they are doing. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect place, perfect location. Well done Tortuga."

"Great place right in the heart of Bradenton Beach. Walking distance from restaurants and shops and right on the tram line for exploring this wonderful area. Staff we spoke to were really friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated (but I believe that a refurbishment is happening) but was clean and offered everything we needed for our two night break. We were sorry to leave and will return in the future."
