"We have visited this property a couple of times before booking a long weekend stay. I can not speak highly enough of the staff and the food! The room was clean and comfortable, the tiniest issue I had (it’s really small!) is that the bathroom door could not be closed and the fridge in the room would cone on periodically (which for a light sleeper can be a bit of an issue). "Our room was situated on the upper floor, there’s a side entrance to the rooms right next to the pub restaurant. The room was lovely and cosy, towels were neatly rolled and placed on the bed for guests to use. Shampoo and shower gel were all provided. Breakfast was also included in our stay as well. The New Forest Inn all day breakfast was fantastic!!! Very big portions, everything comes in double. Dinner at the restaurant was also delicious! Must try out their lamb dishes. We had a pleasant...

"There are lots of wonderful things about this small hotel. Its very friendly staff, beautifully decorated room (we stayed in a garden room), comfy bed, large modern bathroom with a huge walk in shower, efficient heating, possibility to open a window, comfortable lounge with Sunday papers, small bar and a good restaurant. I also appreciated the free parking at the back of the hotel with easy access to rooms and reception. My only complaint would be that breakfast, especially at weekends ends way...

"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "

"A very comfortable last minute stay in this lovely pub. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable, the service outstanding and the food just delicious. The only thing I'd change is the plug and bright green fire escape lighting that illuminates the room too much for a good night's sleep. Overall a very lovely stay. "
