"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "

"Great deal in last minute booking, although double could not be provided only twin room. Food and staff were great. Room tired but renovations taking place. Main problem was how cold the place was - both the room and lounge were freezing."

"Staff were very good and cheerful. Very much a local pub still, which we enjoyed, especially when the rugby was on! We were in Bedroom 8, which in busy times would suffer with a lock of privacy being overlooked by the path down the side and a glamping tent behind. The cooked breakfast was fantastic, but that's all there was, no fruit or cereal. We did enjoy our stay there however."
