"The Fujiya is an impressive and beautiful historic hotel. We stayed with our 5 month old baby in the Forest wing. The room itself was spacious and the decor in keeping with the Classical design of the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the onsen and the western breakfast (best breakfast of our trip). Would thoroughly recommend a stay here due to its history and grandeur!"

We found a couple of nice places in the nearby town where we enjoyed more traditional Japanese-style meals/ambiance. Overall we were very happy with our stay here.
