"Honestly I was nervous reading some of the bad reviews, but it was a perfect stay. Some people complained the room was small but we booked a double room and it was bigger than most hotel rooms we’ve stayed in in Japan with a desk and plenty of room to open our suitcases. "Location is fantastic, a few minutes walk to Shinjuku station with Exit 4 (stairs only) basically across the street, enabling quick access to much of Tokyo. I appreciated the bathtub and included bath salts. Water machines with hot water are located on each floor's hallway which makes it easy to make tea or instant noodles. Umbrellas were out and accessible for quick use. Employees were friendly. Entrance and layout of the ground floor is quite confusing and I never quite got used to it....
