" Having read some negative reviews, I have to write my own review and support the hotel. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights this week; our room was a twin room, very clean, supplied with trouser press, ironing board and iron, tea and coffee making facilities. Very welcome aircon too given the outside temperatures! The staff were pleasant, helpful and polite, on reception, at bar and in restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice. I would stay at this hotel again."

"We’re picky, but we’re impressed by this place. It’s bustling and efficient and well-situated; rooms were nicely appointed and spacious. The location is fantastic. There’s a reason this is full of air crews, business groups and families. Taking off one point for erratic service — desk said they’d text when our room was ready, but didn’t; housekeeping made the beds but didn’t clear away half-finished teacups or take wet towels off the chair. But I’d still stay here again anytime. "

"This is an amazing hotel right near Hyde Park. It is a converted historic building. The entrance, lobby and lounge are fabulous. And the bar used to be a small theatre where, supposedly, Lillie Langtry entertained. My room was modern and comfy."
