Daily room service was fine although some days the tea and coffee sachets weren't replenished. The allocated room on 4th floor was compact, the bed very comfortable and it was in a quiet location. "The Hotel is Ok, the staff are excellent. Rooms good. Gym - old and not well looked after and doesn't open until 10 am! The pool area is lovely BUT people putting towels on sunbeds nd not turning up till after midday is a big issue. Kids in the whirlpool, means the adults don't get a look in! "Stayed here some years ago, so knew the local. We only popped to Tenerife for 2 nights (yes, it’s perfectly doable as a short break). We had a 3rd floor room with sea view. Bed was comfy and lovely view. Would recommend. "

"We had a lovely stay at hotel Troya! We were a little apprehensive but actually turned out to be a great hotel! Adults only pool was a hit for us! Room was spacious, clean & modern. "Lovely location high up on a mountain top -you need to be mobile to walk back to the hotel , inclined walk up, steep angles , but lovely hotel. Even equipped with washer."

"I stayed in this hotel about 10 years ago. It's been done up really welll. We were in the adults only section which was great with lots of areas with relaxing sunbeds. Food was fine, we did eat out on most evenings. Only downsides were you had to book in the night before to use the gym and the daytime music at the rooftop bar was extreme loud.
