"Just got back from a lovely few days. The outside of the property is run down but the areas that matter are lovely. The breakfast was really nice and the pool was an added bonus. Room was lovely and clean. Like the addition of a fridge in the room. Will definitely return when visiting Chester again. Thank you "

"Great location - right next to Racecourse and very walkable to city centre. Car park a bit pricey. Brasserie good although was quiet when we used it in the evening (excellent service and great views though). Room was comfortable with huge bed, all usual amenities and good, modern bathroom."

"Nice hotel in a countryside setting with beautiful grounds. The accomodation was good (Junior Suite) & spacious, though the room was quite a trek from the bar & restaurant. Conversely, it was close to the Spa. Plenty of car parking including some electric charging bays. The breakfast was buffet style with the usual choices, cooked or continental. The dinners were excellent in both quality & presentation, accompanied by good service. We didn't use the Spa. Overall, an enjoyable stay."

"Loved the hotel and staff were great. My only gripe is after booking a non-refundable room, the hotel contacted to stay that we would have to pay a further £20 per person should we will to use the pool! I could understand if we wanted to treatments but surely guests should have access to the pool during certain hours if staying at the hotel! "
