"Nicely appointed unit in a quiet ocean and Mountain View country setting. Reasonable price considering the quality of the unit. 14 miles to Kona for good restaurants, a free zoo and botanical gardens as well as waterfalls and other nature attractions. Nice 50 mile day trip to the Volcano national park. Highly recommend this country inn!"

"We wanted to split up our Big Island stay between the Hilo side and the Kona side. Could not find a better place for Hilo side. Hotel is new, clean and comfortable. Staff is EXCELLENT. Property is small and we got to know staff, owners and guests on a personal basis. Very “homey” feel. Hated to leave but off to Kona!"

"The house was very unique and interesting, and with a lot of space. It was also close to the ocean which made it nice. The cochi frogs were kind of loud at night but it wasn't a problem for me at all. "
