"We were two couples visiting the Big Island for 10 days: 4 nights at Hulili Farms, 6 nights at Mauna Lani condos. At Hulili Farms, one couple stayed in the Pineapple Cottage while the other stayed in the Treehouse. We gathered nightly on the lanai of the cottage for tropical drinks and simple meals. "We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property in Honomu HI. The property was as advertised - quiet and beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed walking the property looking at the plants, birds, goats, chickens & view of the ocean. Our hosts had thoughtfully stocked the refrigerator with some staples that were helpful, including fresh eggs and some chocolates. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast on one of the two patios/decks. "

"Located in a farming/orchard/ranching area in the rain forest side of the Big Island. Most properties in the area are working farms with families and acreage, so expect to experience the daily activity of farm life. The cottage we stayed in was an extension of the main house, separated by a covered garage port. The family are great hosts, quiet and mindful of guest privacy.
