"My daughter and I stayed for two nights in the ground floor studio. As we were not driving but taking the bus, we were happy to find out that we could get within a few blocks. On foot the location is somewhat tricky to find. We used the address and that left us at the wrong side of the pond. Once we got to the place it was cutely decorated and stocked with what you would need. The studio can be stuffy, so be sure to use the fans provided and get instructions. "We had a positive experience in every way! The location is wonderful - just 10 minutes north of downtown Hilo in a quiet neighborhood safe for walking. Spacious, clean and well stocked home with washer & dryer that we could use. The owner was kind and helpful. Close to a beach side park. Good price for the amenities. Cool breezes throughout and a great view of the sunrise and ocean! Very very Nice! We even heard some lovely live guitar music coming from downstairs one time. Great neighborhood."

"While the property was quite spacious there were some issues around: 1. use of laundry 2 remotes for tvs didnt work 3. There were NO knives other than huge carving knives and very small butter knives. Normal size table knives were absent. 4. There was no toaster or kettle for boiling water. 5 Diana was away which is ok but there was no one we could talk to about any of the concerns and only that we complained by email were we then able to access the laundry eventhough the apartment advert was...
