"Large new refurbished rooms in a good location. Very good value for a few nights stay. Disappointing that the reception area is still quite old and badly in need of a revamp. Staff are always welcoming and helpful."

"The shower had mould in it, the shower head was broken. The floor had quite a build up of dust around the skirting boards and furniture. The elevator security isn’t great, you don’t need to swipe your card to use it, anyone from the public can access the hotel and go to any floor they’d like which feels very unsafe."

Desk staff didn't really know what local facilities were about, ie we asked where the nearest bar was and they directed us down St Kilda Rd to a burger place, when there was one open immediately across the street."

"Hotel location is excellent as a base for walking around Melbourne. Room is tiny, too small for even a chair, but it's well appointed, quiet and comfortable."
