"As other reviews noted, the staff are outstanding and that’s why I chose it. The photos of the rooms are deceptive - they are significantly smaller. It was fine but I don’t like it when the photos are that inaccurate because it leaves you feeling misled. The staff alone though make it worth it - especially if it’s your first stop in Vietnam and you want to be somewhere helpful. "

"Very helpful staff. We could sit down and drink tea for the check-in. They allowed early check-in for a few of the rooms in our group. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the spa had reasonable prices and very good massage therapists."

"A very comfortable hotel with great service. The rooms are snug but well appointed with all amenities. If you are looking for a very quiet stay opt for an internal facing rooms as those with balconies have a fantastic view, and give you a great atmosphere of the lake and old town, however can be noisy late into the night and early morning. We dined in the restaurant which was great food and service. Overall we had a great experience at the La Sinfonia del Ray. "

"Lovely hotel a short taxi ride from the major attractions. Technically, it would be 10-15 walk, too, but sidewalks in the area are filled with parked scooters, plus traffic does not stop for pedestrians on the crosswalk, so walking is challenging. We got to enjoy the pool for one day, but it was closed for renovations on Christmas Day. Maybe check if it open If pool is important for you. Excellent buffet breakfast. Would stay again when they fix the pool."
