"The property is located in a really convenient area, we were able to walk to at least half of the things we wanted to do and the rest were an easy subway ride, there are a few subway stations within less than 5 min of the front door. The staff were above and beyond kind and helpful at all times. My main complaint is the elevator situation kind of sucked. They are very very tiny and sometimes take forever to arrive. "We needed a place to sleep near Newark. Shuttle service was amazing. Picked us up at 1:00 am. Then the shuttle guy dropped me at the rental car place the next morning. ❤️"

"Hotel is clean and modern. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great. Hotel bar is nice a nd cosy. Location is on the highway so you need a vehicle, parking charged. Bus service is difficult walking next to busy road. Uber charges extra for George washington bridge crossing into NY. Fort Lee is clean, safe and has a big selection of mostly asian restaurants. "

"Ratings were relative to others at a similar price. This is an older property that likely was rebranded as la Quinta. It is in a dense area of NJ so not easy to walk nearby. The parking adjoins a gas station so easy to fuel up. It's clean, has typical breakfast options except no oatmeal, no significant road noises in the room, third floor not facing the major road. Two happy surprises: typical HVAC under the window was actually pretty quiet. And the indoor pool was relatively large. I'll come...
