"This was most interesting stay on my Costa Rica vacation, a somewhat quirky but comfortable beach hotel. My room was clean, spacious, the AC was working well, and the poolside room helped make it pretty quiet (a beach bar was across the street playing music). The bathroom had a jacuzzi style tub with a hand shower, no standup shower which I much prefer. There is no light or switch by the bed, so my cellphone served as a temporary nightlight. "We were surprised at our room - this is a place we could live in. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and the tidal slough, it's quiet, it has a nice kitchen, and is laid out well. The restaurant was nice and the staff friendly. We had 2 pools to choose from, and took advantage of them every day. The grounds were very pretty and well-maintained. It was easy to get in and out and conventient to stores and sights in Puntarenas."

"This property is very beautiful, the pool is really nice and the villas are excellent and the view will take your breath away. The walk to town is 25 minutes and the hill is tough to walk if you are not in good shape. The owner lives on site, he is a friendly man but there is no reception and check in information was sent to me the day I arrived and had no internet connection. "Beautiful setting and views. Lots of birds and macaws showed up in the trees and flyovers. Bare bones kitchen but only stayed one nite. Room comfortable but could use update. Nice to have AC. Dining options a short drive away. Pool was refreshing"

"Our stay at Casita Sollevente was incredible, the accommodation was very clean, a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean, had two out door pools that were great for relaxing in. The complete staff treated us very well throughout our stay. The food and drinks are very good. The short drive down the hill into Montezuma is easy, though you certainly want a car as it is a steady incline from the town up to the resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"
