"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"Everything was dirty in the property, from the shower curtain full of black mold to coffee maker and fans. Streets are full of garbage outside, smell of sewages and garbage is everywhere. In the shower we found worms and spiders. They even did not have the cutesy of cleaning the dishes, we had to re-wash everything before use. It was horrible. We decided to leave for a hotel the last 5 days of our trip."

"We loved this house so much we requested to stay longer. The host was very responsive and allowed us to extend our stay. The house is very cozy and has a private pool for you to enjoy. The beach is very close and there are macaws flying everywhere. We were able to see most of the peninsula doing short day trips and returning at night. "We (6 old high school buddies) flew in for a fishing excursion. From the time that I booked this house for our stay to the time that we left to fly back our host was on it. Daily cleaning, inhouse chefs, golf cart rentals, transportation from and back to the airport, etc. The house was fantastic and the view was amazing! "Casa mango was a great pick. The host Josh and Mari where great in ever way from advice and knowledge of costa rica to accommodating any request we had. Beautiful compound with a pool all to our self. Very good location about 1 hour from all you want to do in costa rica. I felt very safe at the place and in the town. Josh also has great contacts for very reasonable rental cars and fresh fish and steaks and the local groceries. Cant wait to go back.seemed like i was the only tourist around...

"Great stay. Attentive host. A very nice place sitting on a hillside overlooking the ocean and beautiful Playa Blanca beach at the foot of the hill. Enjoyed hanging out at the large terrace and taking in the amazing view. Saw a good number of scarlet macaws and flocks of pelicans. Down at the beach saw a troop of capuchin monkeys. Would go back in a minute. "

"Best resort stay of my life! The staff are wonderful people, that’s are patient and very attentive. The spa was devine and they even accommodated my pregnancy with a prenatal message. The vegan options for food are plentiful and all the vegan dishes we had were heavenly. The beach is quiet, clean, and private. We stayed in the beach front bungalow, and woke up to a view of the ocean every day which was very special. The other guests are friendly and respectful. The yoga classes were lovely and the studio space is insanely gorgeous with an ocean view and a cool breeze. This a little piece of paradise. Can’t wait to return!"
