"EVERYTHING WAS GREAT BUT WE WENT WITHOUT LEARNING OF THE MONSSON RAIN SEASON. COULDN'T DO ANYTHING OR USE ANY AMENITY BUT STAFF WAS ALL GREAT AND BURGER AT BAR WAS BEST I'VE HAD. "

"I loved the staff especially Susana, Adrian, and José...cause they made it absolutely amazing hands down. The store lady Eyleen Loria Sanchez...she was very sweet and friendly, and last but not least Daniela made the stay better with her friendliness. Food was amazing easy 30/10! All in all best expectation and experience I've had!"

Wonderful stay!

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cerró Lodge. The staff were amazing and made sure that we enjoyed our time. They booked us on a bird and crocodile tour on the Rio Tárcoles that I would certainly recommend. The pizza we had for dinner was delicious. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I look forward to visiting again!"

Luxury ocean view condo with comfy tub & shared pool

Beautiful place but needs some fixes

"The place is absolutely divine, love the location, serenity and local floral and fauna, but the unit had some really issues. Before I get into those, I asked for early check in weeks in advance because our flight was arriving at 8:30 in the morning. Caught a bus here and when we arrived, they said no early check in, no place to hang out for a few hours, and to come back at 4:00. No matter what we tried, they said absolutely not, come back at 4:00, so we went to a nearby town, brought all of our luggage to the restaurant and hung out there until 3:30, then had to call an Uber, which cost us additional money after already paying for a chartered bus. The unit was beautiful, but had some real issues. First off, the front door lock was being held together by black tape and wasn’t secure, we caught 9 large wasps in one of the bedrooms, the blender didn’t work, which sucked, especially since I had already loaded it with fruit. The TV remote didn’t work and when we requested a new one, there was no response. The manager was somewhat responsive but took a long time to respond on WhatsApp until the last day. I would definitely stay here again, but would highly recommend that these matters be resolved."

"Federico was the perfect host. The accommodations was very nice and clean and spa like.The surrounding area was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was available and was very good. Staff were nice and very helpful. Close to Tarcoles Bridge and Carrara National Park. Great opportunity to see birds and monkeys.I would highly recommend. Also the host went above and beyond to assist. I would definitely go back."

The place needs some work

"The place is a rental property rather than a hotel. The host Carla was very friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. However, the property could use some serious work. There were holes on the wall, stains on the couch, splashes on the kitchen window shades, mold or stains on bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink doesn’t work. Walls are paper thin that you can hear everything from the next door neighbor. The bedroom AC doesn’t work properly, that it doesn’t cool and was very noisy. The outdoor unit was right on the bedroom wall, With the paper-thin walls, it makes hard to sleep at night. The beds are hard, extra blankets smells terrible. The WiFi disconnects every 5 seconds. There was no shampoo provided, only a small piece of soup. The check in was confusing because the address both on Expedia and Google maps are wrong. The Google map address even has all the listing pictures. I really wish I could enjoy the place more but the place needs some serious work. "
