"An interesting pub with decent food, ideally situated for the iron bridge 10 mins walk away, and the museums . My room was comfortable and warm enough given the -5c outside. it had a part glass floor with industrial archeology visible through it. "

"Lady on reception who checked me in on the afternoon of the 15th March and out on the morning of the 16th March was extremely friendly and welcoming. Staff in the restaurant also very friendly, making for a great stay. Good quality room and amenities! "

"I don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the café downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again. "
