"My rating is not for my stay but for how they had an issue with my room. Before I arrived there was a plumbing issue in my room. When I arrived they had already found me an alternate place to stay, took care of my transfer, and made it the easiest check in possible - I am always impressed when a hotel responds professionally and quickly to an issue before the guest could even complain - well done"

"Plus- great and pleasant staff, good location with a walking distance to tram stop, inexpensive. Minus- you can hear people taking few rooms away."

"I deducted a star because it area is very noisy for sleeping, I realized the hotel has no control over out side noise , however the noise went on all night until 4-5. "

"We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this property. Alessandro at the front desk was so incredibly helpful by providing information regarding the (very close) location of the tram and which stop to get off at (San Marco Square) to visit all of historic Florence by foot. He also made superb restaurant recommendations and shared the location for the best gelato in Italy! Alessandro clearly enjoys his job and takes guest experience personally. "Had a nice stay. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Apartment was clean. Property is beautiful, I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. My only suggestion for people looking to book would be that you might want to rent a car. It is technically walking distance to centre of town in Siena but it’s a bit of an awkward walk uphill. "
