"The breakfast could have varied slightly . Bit of confusion around breakfast ie wait to be seated orfind your own seat. Restaurant ran out of pizza. Unusual when you make your own! Atad expensive for the portions. Wraps for instance .lovely hotel "

The staff were all very polite, courteous and helpful, especially the gentleman (We gave him the nickname of Miss Rabbit, from Peppa Pig, because he seemed to be doing everything!) who checked us in - Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and functional - Everything we needed and nothing that we didn't want. All in all, it was excellent..."

"I was very satisfied, I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a family room with a double and two single beds with a sea view, tea making facilities and TV. A very nice clean bathroom. The only thing missing was a fridge. But for £34 per night, it was brilliant. The gym and swimming pool was very good for just £2 per session. I did not have breakfast in the hotel so cannot say if it was good but I thought £12.50 might be a bit overpriced, however I did think that the £15.50 3 course...

"If I had read my emails before arrival I would’ve found out about the parking being over the road but even so, staff at reception gave me all the information I needed and allocated a permit for us. Everywhere was so clean and neat and the reception staff were so helpful and engaging, giving us some local information and also discussing driving routes etc. room was beautiful- lovely deep bath, iron and board, hairdryer all good quality. "All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Parts of the hotel looked a little tired, mainly the carpets but it wouldn't stop us from staying there again. Possible the only negative would be the lack of on site parking. However, there is alternative parking elsewhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Only stayed for 1 night. Reception staff very friendly. Room had everything we needed for 1 night, bed, shower, and kettle for morning brew. Bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but that's just personal choice, other people might like a hard mattress. Would stay again. Great location."

"Hotel much as expected. An old building with limited scope for improvement, aimed at budget market. Perfectly adequate for a short stay. Plus points - good location. Minus points. - rather tired furnishings, beds not very comfortable, lift not working. Fire alarm set off during the night - quite disruptive. As clean as probably was practicable. Good breakfast, chargeable extra though. Overall a reasonable experience. "

"In a great spot. Grandchildren loved it - especially the children’s disco! Activities in kids zone could be better - kids made 1 suncatcher that took 10 minutes but were then left to their own devices for the remaining 50 minutes (colouring or playing with games/toys) though the staff were lovely. A very pleasant experience.

"I was very satisfied, I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a family room with a double and two single beds with a sea view, tea making facilities and TV. A very nice clean bathroom. The only thing missing was a fridge. But for £34 per night, it was brilliant. The gym and swimming pool was very good for just £2 per session. I did not have breakfast in the hotel so cannot say if it was good but I thought £12.50 might be a bit overpriced, however I did think that the £15.50 3 course evening dinner was very well priced and of decent quality. Different people made negative comments to me about the hotel before my stay so I was very nervous, but I am happy to say they were very wrong. I will never hesitate to return there. It might become a regular place. The only thing that might cause concerns is the long walks to get to some rooms, if you have limited ability you might need to mention it when booking. The staff I met were all very friendly and efficient. I'll be back. Thanks."

"We arrived 2 hours early and our room was ready. We had room 1 which overlooks the beach. Everything in room was top quality. We had no problem with the car park.hotel situated right by Ernie statue. The breakfast is the best breakfast we have had in all the hotels we have stayed in. Cannot fault this hotel at all and the staff are so friendly. Would definitely stay here again."
