We learned to take the bus to wherever we were headed for the day. There’s a killer gelato place at the Piazza Baccaria where we went daily. Easy walk to caffe and dolci because we didn’t want the available hotel breakfast. Good restaurants. A lot less touristy and better prices, yet only 3 blocks from the Arno. Ferrucci was literally the only hotel with vacancy in the city and we snagged the last room. For that, I will be forever grateful. "We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, our room with Turkish bathroom was perfect. The hotel location is really central which makes walking to Florence’s attractions so easy. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming. If we had to mention anything that could be improved, it would be the firmness of the beds, but this is personal preference, (a topper would be a perfect solution). This is a minor point though and no way spoilt our stay. We would definitely book again! Thank you "
