"La photo de la chambre sur le site de réservation ne correspondait pas à celle que nous avons eu, moins moderne. Nous nous sommes donc retrouvés avec une chambre au rez de chaussée de celle initialement prévue. Il y avait un serieux souci d'isolation. Nous entendions les personnes de l'étage marchaient sur le plancher bois et ronflaient. Salle de bain vétuste. Heureusement la personne nous accueillant dans ce lieu etait top. "I felt comfortable, despite initial problem with my reservation through Expedia (which took 3 calls to resolve), and some construction noise. I stayed 4 nights in the 6bed dorm room. I miss the hostel dog Amazon, the most. It's a very basic hostel but staff/volunteers/owner/guests were very nice. There's a water shortage in Samana so no long hot showers, or even much water cold water due to weak water pressure. Wifi was intermittent at times. Breakfast was good, something different every...
