"The resort is beautiful and the staff is really friendly. They have events each day and evening, but it can get confusing what is happening when. The signs were wrong and we were told to go to wrong place by a few people, so I would recommend going to reception and asking vs asking staff members on the grounds. I don’t think everyone knows what all is going on event wise. I did have an issue with being overcharged for shirts in the gift shop. They have a sign on the wall saying 1 for $18 and then 3 for whatever. I converted money so paid in pesos and wasn’t given receipt. When I checked the conversion I saw I was charged $74 for 2 shirts. When I went back to return the girl refused return, started throwing the tag on the shirt in my face ver aggressively, when I pointed to the sign she said it’s not for these shirts, which is right under it, I asked to speak to a manager she said she is the manager, I said for the whole hotel? She just looked at me. So I said I was going up to reception to talk to the hotel manager and picked up the bag. She then ripped it out of my hands, threw it down, and yelled at me. I’m fairly certain she was scamming. I did get my refund, but it was unpleasant. I did go speak to guest services and they did advise it is a third party but they went down immediately to address. So beware of the gift shop. Other than that, this place is beautiful and relaxing. I don’t think you would regret going here. "

"My stay at Ocean El Faro was nothing short of perfect from the moment we arrived. Check-in was seamless, setting the tone for an incredible experience. Team Blue entertainment was fantastic!! Not even few hours that we felt not entertained. Our toddlers loved the entertainment from Daisy club and we had so much fun with the adult entertainment. The shows, the pool entertainment, the evening performances all were extremely fabulous. We danced in the plaza with our littles and made such good memories. Special shoutout to Stephani, Marco and Melanie. Thank you for everything From the gorgeous pools to the pristine beaches, top-notch dining, and endless activities, Ocean El Faro exceeded all our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. Without a doubt, we will be returning!"
