"This hotel was very budget friendly and had great staff. Check-in was great. Nice quiet room in a good neighborhood. Nice walk to the city center and great food options. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning to get you started. The only bad part of the stay was sewer smell. We mitigated this by filling a bag with water and putting it over the shower drain. This seemed to manage the issue. Great value hotel with great staff!"

"The best thing was the house keeping, cleaned up everyday, drinking water was provided every day. The owner is very nice and polite. The room are a bit dated but other wise all was good. The location was very nice, walking distance to all attractions and night markets. "

"We had an amazing stay at Shamrock. The staff were kind, friendly, and always willing to help, even offering us a golf cart ride when moving around the neighborhood. The hotel and room decor was absolutely beautiful and we were blown away by the attention to detail. Though breakfast was not included, we were given a generous amount of drink tickets which we could use for various coffees, juices, etc. The restaurant had a varied menu of delicious options. We will definitely be returning next time...

"A great location to stay away from the crazy packed old town. Super walkable! Yummy breakfast, coffee, drinks, and of course water. Airplane noise was a bit loud, but I slept with headphones so it wasn’t a huge deal. "

"Cheap rooms but there are several better ones around for the same price. Annoying check with lots of paperwork to sign. Very thin walls so pick up the noise outside. Clean but very old rooms and bedding. Several floors but no lift. The hotel has a new and old building a few side streets apart which is confusing when try to find it. Make sure you know which you need. On the plus side, is cheap and reasonably clean. "

"Lovely hotel in a good location. The staff are really lovely. There's a nice restaurant directly opposite too which was handy. The only thing letting it down was that the rooms were a bit noisy. We moved room in the end and it was slightly better but still not great. We were top floor so I think what kept us awake were compressors from the Aircon on the roof kicking in and out. It wasn't a deal breaker, just make sure you take earplugs. "
