"I've lived in Thailand for years, had a rental car on this trip and am familiar with Chiang Mai. I very much enjoyed our stay at Centara. Earlier reviews stated that this property was run down. It appears to me to have been renovated very well. Our rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Reception and restaurant/coffee shop were very nice (though over priced). Both of these were true with it being a short 15 minute walk from bus station and hotel being very modern with pool and gym.
