"Very nice in a modest, rustic alps way. Great location, minutes from ski rental, lifts, train and Zermatt town center. Very clean and if you are lucky enough to have Matterhorn view with balcony (i did) you have one of the best views in all of Zermatt. Staff are very nice and helpful. On our 2 week tour of Alps, Paris and Venice (including our 4 nights at 5 star Hilton Stucky) this was our favorite destination, a large part due to this hotel! thank you Hotel Perren"

"Very nice hotel. I lucked out and got a room with a balcony. Room and facilities were well thought out to accommodate a ski vacation. Room was very clean and housekeeping was excellent. Price was on the low end for Zermatt so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I would stay here again and would recommend it to a single or couple travelling for a ski vacation."

The view of the Matterhorn from our room was incredible! The staff were friendly and easily reachable. They even worked with me via email to decorate our room as a surprise for my husband just the way I imagined. "Generally a good stay. However, we had a top floor room with a Matterhorn view and the shower head was located below my chest. I'm a guy so I am not typically really worried about things like this but it made for an awkward and uncomfortable shower experience. Breakfast didn't start until 7:30 and the charge for coffee from the machine outside of breakfast hours seemed unnecessary."
