"This property is such a wonderfully unique place. Owner Richard is an avid mountaineer, hence the namesake “base camp”. The property is traditional, cozy, welcoming, and nicely updated with modern technology. The staff is super friendly. The view of Matterhorn from our room is gorgeous. The breakfast is very good.
