"The property is in an excellent location. Coming from Osaka by train the station is literally up the stairs. Very clean and well run with front desk being very helpful with advice,directions and bus #. Highly recommend for those reason. Mattress especially hard and not for people with back issues…for me!"

Check-in was smooth, the rooms are very small (to be expected), but perfectly fine if you’re only going to be there for a short amount of time or traveling light. So if you have someone with a handicap or wheelchair it is difficult and takes a long time especially during peak hours and check in/out times. Lastly, the closest smoking section is about 3 blocks away, so that was a big inconvenience."

"This hotel is quite new and still looks amazing. Dining room is lovely, onsen is fantastic. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We loved staying in Kameoka and commuting into Kyoto because after the crowds in Kyoto it was so refreshing to come back to quiet and clean Kameoka. We enjoyed every minute of our stay."

"Room was spacious! The separated shower and toilet was a plus for us. It was very convenient! The alleys around the hotel were pretty either at morning or at night. And felt safe to walk anytime of the day or night time. There’s alao a very close seven eleven and family mart. Can’t praise this hotel enough! Highly recommend!"
