"The hosts were friendly and helpful. The drive up to the house was very rough so not good for our car. A sign on the road would also help as property was quite difficult to find. No locks on the doors was a little bit worrying with leaving valuables in our room. However a beautiful house. We were made very welcome and breakfast was good even though there was not a porridge option. We would stay again. "

"Lovely unusual place to stay, the room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. There are jo staff on site which is fine but I did need to ask someone something so I phoned the emergency tel number that was on the into board but noone answered and noone got back to me. I do think if you are going to run a no staff hotel you do need someone to be available at the end of the emergency phone number. "

"Atmospheric pub with rooms with a rowing club interior design style. It was a quality experience from check in to check out. Breakfast was one of the luxurious and extensive I’ve seen. Friendly, thoughtful service. Quiet comfortable room. A busy local bar and beer garden on Tuesday I stayed. Burger and single draught pint was £25. "

"The staff are brilliant only not allowed to drink in the rooms but they will hold it for you in there fridge so all good... Ive stayed here twice when no hotels available for work and ive had a cracking sleep Goid work guys and ill be coming in october when next working in bristol All the best 👍 "

"A very beautiful amazing place to stay , very clean spacious and homely feel. The Gentleman that checked us in when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay at the Elm tree guest house would highly recommend to family and friends and definitely will stay again. Thankyou."

"Fairly large room, good view of the town, central location. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, kettle in room. even an iron and ironing board. The TV was small but worked well. Access is via a long staircase over 3 floors pending on which room you get, best to travel light or it can be bit of a haul. We have used ML lodge before and would use it again, its great value for money. One tip, lock your door from inside/outside as it does not lock automatically on closure to avoid unexpected interruptions...
