"Overall, a great place to stay in the area of limited choices. Needed improvements are: 1) "Hot" water was just barely warm making showers not as pleasant as they should be. 2) TV signals were pixelating on some channels. The whole system needs to be checked for proper signal levels. 3) Staff should ensure that all lights in the room are working. I had to plug in a lamp near the bed. Bulbs with only warm white color temperature would be best. Too many cool white bulbs were installed. 4)...

"Our 2nd of many future stays! It's our "home" away from home! The outdoor kitchens we have yet to use & there's two for family & friend gatherings. Air/wayer hoses, corn hole, horse shoe, ice machine, fish cleaning station, laundry onsite, pool, toys and bikes, clothes line, firepits, entertainment area for Sat (seasonal) night boogy. Rooms are renovated, some with walk in showers. Gift shop & Art Gallery on site. Doggie stations w/poop bags, dog play area (fenced), kayack use with life vests....

"A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. "

"An older motel, but in excellent condition, the Cape Pines has large updated rooms paneled in pine. The bed was very comfortable, the furnishings attractive, and the manager even called to make sure everything would be ready when we arrived. "

"The property should not have been rented with so many of the necessary amenities broken. I tried to work with property manager, but could not get resolution of the issues. If the owner was aware then shame on them."

We had a group of 10 adults and a toddler and we all had more than enough room to spread out, but also hang out together when we wanted to in the main living area without feeling cramped.
