"There were several areas of uncleanliness. The bunk beds had dead bugs in them and the shower curtain had mold on the clear liner. The hot tub had black mold in it. None of the tv remotes had any batteries. Otherwise it was a beautiful home with amazing views!"

"The property is quite literally perfect for small and big children alike. We had two, one year olds and everything we could have thought of, was supplied. The mini cribs were fantastic, black out curtains, toys, bibs, children’s plates/silverware, gates at the stairs- everything was fantastic. Rachel, the host, was so prompt in her responses and went out of her way to be extra helpful. The walk to the beach was short and sweet- not a problem at all. It was so nice to also have a Brita on site and not have to buy water. 12/10 and would recommend to everyone!"

"Plenty of room to spread out! Kitchen well stocked with any dishes or tools you might need. Easy walk to beach and Food lion and restaurants nearby. Enjoyed outings to nearby Kitty Hawk, Bodie and Cape Hatteras lighthouses. Very relaxing week."

"The house is in a great location- right on the beach with beach access on side of house. Plenty of room for our family of 12. We brought a few of our own beach chairs and it was good that we did- also had to rent a couple because there were only 3 chairs and they were pretty rusty and flimsy. The bedrooms range in size, beds are a little hard, curtains do not block a whole lot of light but they do offer privacy- so if you need dark to sleep claim the twin bedroom on the first floor or bring a sleep mask. Plenty of toilet paper was provided, but only one towel per person, and one dish towel- we ended up going to dollar store to buy more kitchen towels. The cleaners were not finished for our 5:00 check in which was frustrating after our long drives we had to wait outside the home for an additional 1/2 hour. The grill was never cleaned and we ended up with a large grease fire- they did come and clean the grill afterwards but it was pretty scary. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with utensils, plenty of pots and pans of all sizes. Two coffee pots and a toaster. The home is starting to show some wear and tear and in need of a little TLC- the molding between kitchen and living room was coming up and we kept tripping on it- Vacasa came out and repaired it- there are some rungs on porches that are a little loose, lots of ripped screens, vents dirty This is a great home, in a great location- my family would love to spend more time here. There are more positives than negatives."

"Property was as advertised. Dining table is a pool table. Flip over top and can play table tennis. Only aspect not appreciated was toilet in Master bedroom has no door. But we knew this going in and managed just fine with the floor plan."
