"We were delayed arriving due to issues with the Cedar Island ferry. I called Laura and she made arrangements to leave the porch light on and key in the room. She was so nice to deal with on the phone and the next morning when we checked out. Restaurant recommendations were great for breakfast, The room was renovated, clean and fresh. The entire motel looks like it is undergoing a facelift. I am sure when it is completed it will be very nice. We were pleasantly surprised at this motel. "

"This was a getaway for my bride and I. Everything was great, but the continual sound of the ocean crashing was epic! I miss it already. I plan on returning soon. "

"The hotel is older and showing some of its age. However the room was clean and well stocked with towels and plenty of hot water. The front desk called us on check in day to find out our arrival time and had some fabulous recommendations of where find restaurants that were open, as we were there in off season and most places were not open yet. We will most definitely stay there again."

"Our vacation at Sol e Mare was fantastic. The property was very clean, spacious, bright, and easy to settle into for a week. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the private hot tub/pool area, the views from the decks, and the short walk to the beach. We appreciated the owners' responsiveness and ease of communication. We highly recommend Sol e Mare!"

"The house was spotless when we arrived (though a bit outdated), and the view from the upper deck was tremendous. The kitchen was well-stocked for a week of cooking. Because we came in the off season, we often had our own private beach. We saw dolphins EVERY DAY, innumerable species of seabirds, and even a humpback whale slapping the sea in the far distance! The stargazing from the top deck was spectacular with many sightings of shooting stars. We had such a lovely week. I would highly recommend this stay."

"Chris and Rachel have an amazing property , We really enjoyed our stay ! Short walk to the beach, Great Shelling at Marker 25 just a short drive away, Most Businesses were closed and town was slow ( Aw GEEZ NO PEOPLE ON THE BEACH ) as we were here over Christmas! We shall be back in the summer ! Thanks again Chris and Rachel for the quick responses when we had a question! See you in August !! "
