"Our 2nd of many future stays! It's our "home" away from home! The outdoor kitchens we have yet to use & there's two for family & friend gatherings. Air/wayer hoses, corn hole, horse shoe, ice machine, fish cleaning station, laundry onsite, pool, toys and bikes, clothes line, firepits, entertainment area for Sat (seasonal) night boogy. Rooms are renovated, some with walk in showers. Gift shop & Art Gallery on site. Doggie stations w/poop bags, dog play area (fenced), kayack use with life vests. This is the Sweet Spot of Buxton! The staff is AMAZING! I'd give 10 stars if I could! Ready to Beach Bum it out in Buxton then go have one hell of a swell time at the Swell Motel!!!"

"Overall, we loved our stay at Knot A Care. Location was excellent! Easy drive to the beach and delicious restaurants. Pool was great. The fenced in yard was perfect for us and our dog. We didn’t get to do a fire in the pit, but that would have been great with plenty of seating around. We watched tv only a little bit, but we had access to any app. No issue with connecting to WiFi either. We had access to the washer and dryer so we were able to wash all of our clothes before heading home. We ate out the whole time, but there were plenty of cooking items available if you wanted to cook in. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We would stay again, so I think that says it all."

"The property was very clean and had nice amenities. It was our first time in the outer banks, and I loved being right on the beach. The house was spotless when we arrived and it was very dog friendly. It’s a little secluded from mini golf, shopping, and movie theaters when the weather is bad but that was the only drawback. "

"I had a great stay in this Buxton house. The price was very affordable for a 7 day stay. The booking and check in process was easy although there were a couple extra steps as the house is owned by another rental property, Vacasa. I had a number to text for any questions and response was quick. The house is located in a cul de sac, just a 5 min walk to the beach. The house was very clean when we arrived with plenty of bath towels. We enjoyed the charcoal grill located right behind the house next to the patio stairs. There were a few beach chairs in the storage which came in handy for our beach outings. The kitchen came with plenty of plates, pans, utensils and bowls to prepare a meal. Only suggestion I have is to bring your own seasonings as there are none in the house, not even salt and pepper. I also wish we also knew about the Buxton beach closure. No fault of the house at all and there were plenty of other beaches with public parking we were able to go to. The closure is due to an old Navy station structure that is leaking petroleum I to the water. I didn't see or smell the petroleum during my stay there but I would suggest staying away from that stretch of beach just in case. Haulover Day Use beach entrance and parking was one we visited frequently, just a 5 min drive from the house. I suggest going to Buxton Seafood and buying some fish to grill. We got tuna, shrimp and Mahi Mahi, they were delicious! Hatteras ferry terminal was about 30 min drive to get to Ocracoke - my"
