"We were just here for a little weekend get-away before Christmas. The house is as advertised. It feels like staying at your friends well-loved beach house. The view is beautiful, you are close to everything and there is plenty of room for kids (and the dog) to relax. While it has almost everything, there wasn’t a microwave, which was a bit of a surprise. The sandspurs are abundant, so shows outdoors are a must. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The house was exactly as advertised online. We arrived to a very clean house. The neighborhood was very, very quiet and we were surprised to see that almost, if not all the houses on the street were locals and not rental houses. The property manager was awesome, she texted us to welcome us and was also very quick to help when we lost our door code and got locked out. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The kitchen was well stocked, bed was very comfortable, as was the living room furniture. A++++"

"A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. "

"Over all we enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice. View was great and access to beach nice. Would be nice to have the path to the beach from the right side of the house cleared out. But we used the access to the left. We addressed a couple concerns. Never got to use the washer had to spend half a day of our vacation at the laundry mat. When we arrived the Washer had water sitting in the drum as well as clothes, lighter and pocket knife behind the rubber seal. The pool needed attention as rust, sand something was in it. We kept getting brushed off the entire time about these issues. Never got fixed while we were there. Plus there was vomit at the entrance to the pool area when we arrived. We cleaned that up ourselves. We asked for compensation for our time and money spent at the laundry and not being able to use the pool.The children would have loved to play in the pool. Got brushed off for that too. Very disappointed in the support from reality once we arrived. Despite these issues we as a family enjoyed our stay. "

"We had a very nice experience staying. The weather is cool (~80 degree). The house has big space. There are some tiny issues such as faucet for cleaning sand should be replaced. The toilet at top floor has water leak unless you push the flapper hard. We tried to use the bunk beds in the beginning but felt safe to use the sofa bed at top floor (the house has 4 bunk beds which can sleep 8 people). We realized till Friday that the Avon city does not collect garbage bags outside the tank, even it's in the bag. The house does not have the tank for recycling materials."

"Everything was very nice. Clean, spacious. Bathroom alittle small for multiple people. Make sure to wear shoes until you get to the sand so your feet don’t get pricked. Close to many good eats!!"
