"10 min walk from Kyoto station. Nearest 7-11 is like 5 min walk away. Close to Aeon (15 min walk ) Shopping mall opposite Kyoto station. They didn't clean our place because we didn't indicate if we wanted to clean. Anyway for 2 nights stay, our room wasn't that dirty. They offered free iced tea and hot water for our maggi mee or drip hot coffee. We ended up eating bkft at the lounge on level 1 before leaving there. My children loved this place. "I’ve been to many capsules across Japan and my stay here was at the too. Yes, I’ve stayed in Kyoto, Osaka, but wanted to spend a few days in Ōtsu and experience a slower pace and so glad I did! The reviews on Google and Orbitz rated The Calendar high so I gave it a try and I was not disappointed. However, I do need to mention if you are sensitive to smell you might notice the slight scent of smoke.
