"Spacious, clean and warm room, with integral kitchen. Comfy bed, plenty of plugs for charging etc.Tv and wi-fi worked fine. Currently no food, as restaurant being refurbished, but plenty of places nearby, and can also cook in bedroom."

"Booked the property then saw the reviews so was abit nervous to go here with them all being bad but I can not fault our stay at all! Upon arrival the music was loud in the pub, we checked in and the manager took us out the back. We were in one of the self contained lodges in the courtyard and it was of a very high clean standard, as we arrived the heating was on. It was newly refurbished and it was done to a high standard. "Nov 2024 - This is a very old pub, persevered very well and in keeping with it's original historic 656 year old design. Great food and drink selection and wonderful staff. With that in mind, it is a pub, and therefore very noisy until around 12am later at weekends. "The property is great. I was traveling with my wife, daughter (13 yrs old) and nephew (16 yrs old). The unit has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. It's a large space approximately 600 sqft. There is also parking which is a big plus in England. The unit does not indicate it has a washer and dryer but the picture of the unit clearly shows a washer. "Hotels.com failed to relay that I had booked 2 rooms. Only 1 room was reserved. Hotels.com did not let me know, luckily Holloway hotel noted the mistake and contacted me. They endeavoured to get me a room elsewhere and were very helpful."

"Place was clean inside shared bathroom, kitchen and dining. My room did not have a mirror so it was very inconvenient make sure you request a room that has mirror. Overall inside was very comfortable. To be honest outside was not the best area but once you are in the house it’s very comfortable.
