"This hotel is in an excellent location for access to many of the museums. It was a short walk across Grant Park to Shedd Aquarium. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive the room was a bit dated but functional. The beds were extremely uncomfortable but that was to be expected at this price point. "We have stayed here many times. The staff is very helpful and efficient. We love the easy going atmosphere. It is close to everything in the neighborhood and easily accessible to the train as well. "

"Great older hotel, but impressively clean. Very friendly staff. It looks like some room might need some fleshing up, and i would give all 5 stars if breakfast would have a slightly better menu. But over all great hotel and great location."
